The
Juvenile Reception and Assessment Center is 144-bed
secure facility that serves as a comprehensive intake,
assessment and classification center for juvenile male
offenders sentenced to the JJC. |

|
|
|
| |
This
facility is separated into six pods each accommodating
24 juveniles and includes a separate area where juveniles
are processed into the Commission's custody. One of
the six pods is designated specifically for parole violators. |
|
|
|
|
| |
The
facility offers a full educational curriculum, recreation,
medical services and religious opportunities. |
